Scott A. Miller, the founder of Scott A. Miller & Co., CPA’s has been providing tax and accounting services to business and individual clients for thirty years. While highly skilled in tax and accounting, his greatest strengths are his caring personality and his willingness to help his clients. His motto has always been that his clients’ problems are his problems, and is not satisfied until there is a resolution. Scott is a trusted advisor to his clients over the years.
Mr. Miller, an honors graduate from Temple University, is licensed to practice in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Arizona. He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, Bucks County Business Association and the Local Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Miller has successfully guided the firm to “Unqualified Passing” on all of its Peer Review Examinations since inception of the firm.
Kevin A. Fischer is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at Scott A. Miller & Co., CPA's, a trusted firm known for its commitment to excellence in accounting. He joined the firm in 2018 and, through his dedication and expertise, became a partner in 2023. Kevin became a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania in 2015 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
With years of experience in public accounting, Kevin has worked extensively in accounting, audit, and tax services, serving a wide range of clients, including family-owned businesses, individuals, trusts and estates. Clients have praised Kevin for his knowledge, communication, and client satisfaction, noting his proactive approach to tax planning and business structuring.
Kevin graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in August 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Certificate in Leadership and Ethics from the College of Business Administration.
George F. Holzer III graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Cum Laude Honors in April 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
After graduation, he worked for Nestle Waters in the Logistics Department before joining Scott A. Miller & Co., CPA’s in October of 2011. Since joining SAMCO, George is currently taking the CPA exam and gaining the necessary experience to become certified in the upcoming year.
As a Staff Accountant, George is responsible for the full scope of tax and accounting needs of individuals, partnerships, and corporations as well as preparation of compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements.
His expertise includes Quickbooks setup and use, CCH Prosystems FX Tax Software use, and helping small business design and implement effective accounting systems.
George is a dedicated team member of Scott A. Miller & Co., CPA’s who looks forward to helping clients reach the next level.
Larry T. Lance, CPA has been a trusted business advisor for closely held clients in the Public Accounting industry for 30 years and has experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Controller for entrepreneurial based companies as well. He has expertise in the dual disciplines of financial reporting and tax reporting. He served as a Principal and Auditor in a regional accounting firm before joining Baker Tilly International and then to Mazars USA, whereby his title was Senior Manager.
Mr. Lance, a Distinctive graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, is licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has served as an advisor on various Boards.
Aaron J. Miller is a Senior Accountant at Scott A. Miller & Co., CPA’s PLLC, where he has been a valued team member since September 2019. He graduated magna cum laude from Temple University in May 2019, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with minors in Marketing and Finance. With a strong foundation in accounting principles and tax software, Aaron is highly proficient in utilizing CCH ProSystems Engagement and CCH ProSystems FX Tax software for a wide range of client needs.
Aaron has diligently built a strong client base over the past five years, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering long-lasting relationships. Known for his willingness to assist clients with any of their accounting and tax-related needs, Aaron’s expertise continues to be an asset to both the firm and its clients.
Currently, Aaron is pursuing certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), gaining the practical experience required to meet all CPA licensure requirements. As a key member of the firm, he remains dedicated to expanding his expertise and further strengthening his client relationships in the years to come.
Scott H. Weinfeld graduated Albright College, Summa Cum Laude in December 2021, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Additionally, he was awarded the Green Lee Award for overall excellence within the Accounting Program.
Upon graduation, he joined the firm of Fischer Cunnane & Associates gaining experience in various areas of accounting, audit, and tax services. His primary focus was on employee benefit plan and not-for-profit audits as well as financial statement review and compilation services.
As a Staff Accountant, Scott is responsible for the full scope of tax and accounting needs of
individuals, partnerships, and corporations as well as preparation of compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements.
Scott is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania when he passed the CPA examination in 2023. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public
Accountants.
Nick Stevens graduated from Penn State University’s main campus in May 2024 with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During his academic journey, he achieved Dean’s List honors in seven of eight semesters and maintained a 3.75 GPA.

While still in college, Nick founded Detailed Perfection LLC, a successful detailing business that he operated full-time after graduation. Although the business thrived, the seasonal nature of the work inspired him to explore new opportunities. In October 2024, he joined Scott A. Miller & Company CPAs (Samco), marking his entry into the professional accounting field.
At Samco, Nick works extensively with QuickBooks and is committed to mastering the principles of accounting while pursuing his CPA certification, sponsored by the firm. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to learning underscore his goal of becoming a skilled accountant and future CPA.
